Game viewing has been revered as the best in the world. Perched on the Sand River the viewing decks afford some of the most stunning views of animal and bird life from your own back yard. The lodges are steeped in history and the MalaMala Reserve is still as untouched today as it was 60 years ago affording you the ultimate South African safari experience. The plush, overstuffed chairs in the lounge with the enormous tusks framing the flickering fireplace remind you of the hearty days of hunting and the splendor of an era passed. Sable Lodge has 5 luxurious suites and one 2 bedroom suite which are ideal for families. The slightly larger Mala MalaMain Camp has 18 luxury suites.

Each is fitted with modern amenities right down to the heated towel racks, but your experience is truly authentic African safari as they have maintained the traditional camp style. Each room is air conditioned with his and hers en suite bathrooms and the camp even has a gymnasium for the restless traveler.
