Serondella Game Lodge is the place of the elephant and it is also the place for you if you are a family or small group. With 3 individual suites and a 3 bedroom suite this is the ideal place to enjoy your South African safari. The home style atmosphere blends gently into the Thornybush Game Reserve. The rooms are decorated with dark wood furniture softened by light colored overstuffed cushions and pillows.

Dining is an open air affair with a thatched roof dining room with open walls to allow you to watch the world go by as you dine. Often dinners are served by the pool, boma or even in the bush for a true safari experience. Intimate candlelight dinners can even be arranged.

Elevated viewing porches give you a birds eye view of the park, putting you one on one with the 507 bird species in the park, while suspended wooden paths heighten your safari experience as you float above the ground.

Game drives are a priority of the day and nature walks are organized for the curious at heart. If all these exciting game viewing activities take too much of a toll, enjoy one of the varied spa treatments in the Thornybush Spa.

With only 8 guests on the property, Serondella melds into the bush and is canopied by over 336 tree species. Balloon rides and even helicopter rides are offered in the area. Enjoy the swimming pool to refresh from the midday sun. Indulge and sip on sundowner drinks in the bar lounge which overlooks the Inyoni Pan where Kingfishers dive and the fish scamper below.

Thornybush is a vast mecca for wildlife adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Without boundaries you are sure to see the Big 5- before they see you! It is truly the place of the elephant, but it is also the place to take your family to enjoy this cozy luxury camp for your African safari experience.

This African safari provides the perfect setting for families, because the children are specially catered for as well. From their food to the special activities, there is never a dull moment for the young ones.

Upon arrival each child receives back pack with crayons and a colouring book. Children can go on specially tailored game drives, educational walks, treasure hunts and picnics. Children above 6 years old are welcome on the game drives. Baby sitters are available on request.
