Your African Safari Experience

From the moment you enter the Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge on your first day you will feel the ambiance of a traditional African safari. You are welcomed with a lemon-scented towel and from there your South African safari experience begins. After being taken to your thatched suite you will have a chance to freshen up before the afternoon game drive.

Your driver and tracker will then greet you when you gather for tea and cakes before heading out into the wild. They will be your guides for the next two days and their knowledge of the Sabi Sabi environs will astound you. When you return from your evening drive, sundowners will be served on the expansive deck. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is renowned for its superlative service and high standards.

The sound of the kudu horn calls you to dinner which is an art at the lodge and may be served in the colonial, open air dining room or in the boma area. Vibrant table cloths, open fires and tiki torches set the mood. As the sun is rising you will awake with anticipation for your first full day on safari in Africa. Warm tea, coffee and rusks await you while you gather for your morning drive. The animals are on the move and the excitement begins.

The giraffe stand tall to greet you and the impala scamper by the hundreds when you drive past. Hours pass quickly and soon you are headed back to the charm of Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge for a lavish breakfast served on the timbered deck.

The next few hours are yours to write postcards to your envious friends or read in the history library among the pictures of days of African safaris gone by. The pool awaits you for a refreshing midday swim, lunch is served and before you know it your friendly, informative guides are collecting you for your afternoon drive.
