Day 1: Kruger National Park, South Africa

You depart Johannesburg at dawn and arrive at the Kruger National Park around midday. Before entering the Kruger you stop for lunch in one of the small quaint towns en-route to the park. Your first afternoon will be spent on a safari game drive inside the Kruger National Park tracking South Africa’s greatest wildlife species.

Here you get your first glimpse of the diverse flora and fauna. After your morning and afternoon game drives, with adequate rest stops at lookout points, you arrive at your first African safari camp late afternoon, check-in, relax and unwind and you will be served dinner by candlelight under the stars, and enjoy fine South African wines.

Day 2: Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, South Africa

Your second leg of the 3 day Kruger Park and Sabi Sands combination safari is packed with action and adventure. Boundless open spaces and wilderness areas provide unbeatable African wildlife viewings. You delight in an early morning cup of fresh coffee and light snacks before setting off to track South Africa’s Big Five animals, the Buffalo, Leopard, Lion, Elephant and Rhino. Then you stop for a breakfast picnic at a scenic picnic spot inside the Kruger National Park.

After breakfast, your safari game drive continues. South Africa is a magical place of marvelous nature and exotic wildlife species, so don’t forget your camera to capture boastful photographs. The wildlife game drive takes you to the famous Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. You arrive at the safari lodge in time for lunch after which you can freshen up and relax.

Later in the day you go on a sunset game drive. This is an excellent opportunity to spot some of Africa’s more nocturnal animals in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. You return to a delicious South African dinner served next to the fire. Share your game viewing experiences with fellow guests while enjoying the warmth of the night.

Day 3: Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, South Africa

Today is the last day of your 3 day Kruger Park and Sabi Sands combination safari. Rise and Shine morning with fresh coffee before departing on an adventurous 4x4 safari game drive. Don’t forget to keep eye for leopards!  After your morning game drive you return for a delicious breakfast. If you've opted for the 3 day itinerary, you will get ready to depart after breakfast.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the panorama route as you make your way back to Johannesburg. The road transfer will take you through the Blyde River Canyon, Lisbon Waterfalls and the Three Rondavels. You stop at the scenic town of Pilgrims Rest for lunch.  Please note that the panorama route does not apply for self drive guests. Depending on the flight departure times, guests departing by air might not have enough time to see the panorama route.

Day 4: Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, South Africa

After an early wake up call and coffee, you depart on a game tracking African wildlife. The combination of the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve allows you the best of both worlds. Return to the African safari lodge for a delicious breakfast followed by a relaxing afternoon by the sparkling pool. You can also enjoy a brisk walk after breakfast. You head out on an afternoon / evening game drive. Arrive back at the lodge for dinner.

Optional day 5: Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, South Africa

Today is the last day of your 5 day safari in the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. This is the ideal opportunity to capture some last minute safari memories on your camera while spotting African wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch after which you will depart for Johannesburg. You will return via the scenic panorama route past the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels and Lisbon Waterfalls.

Stop at the picturesque town of Pilgrims Rest for lunch before continuing your journey. Please note that the panorama route does not apply for self drive guests. Depending on the flight departure times, guests departing by air might not have enough time to see the panorama route. (Breakfast included.)
